{% if locale == 'fr' %}Accord de licence utilisateur final (CLUF){% else %}End-User License Agreement (EULA){% endif %}
This EULA governs your use of BranchPy Studio — the desktop workspace for Ren'Py and Godot project analysis — together with any associated BranchPy developer tools, such as the CLI analysis commands available on Pro plans (the “Software”). BranchPy Studio is local-first and read-only by default: it analyzes and reports findings and does not automatically modify your source files.
License grant
Subject to payment (if applicable) and compliance with this EULA, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, within the seat limits of your plan.
Restrictions
- No resale, sublicensing, or sharing license keys outside your team.
- No reverse engineering, decompiling, or circumventing license limits except where permitted by law.
- No use to build a competing product that is substantially similar.
Updates & telemetry
The Software may offer updates. Optional, pseudonymous telemetry may be collected only if you opt-in. When enabled, telemetry may be associated with your account or device identifier for product improvement, support, and licensing purposes. It never includes your project content. (See Privacy Policy.)
Open-source components
Some components are licensed by third parties under their own terms. Where applicable, those terms govern the components.
Term & termination
This EULA continues until terminated. We may suspend or terminate if you materially breach it. Upon termination, you must stop using and uninstall the Software.
Disclaimer; limitation
The Software is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to amounts paid in the 12 months before the claim (or CAD $50 if none).
Governing law
Québec law and the laws of Canada govern this EULA. Venue: Montréal, Québec.
